Close to the University of Western Ontario, many of the students at University Heights have parents who work at the university. This JK-8 has over 300 children from diverse cultural backgrounds. In addition to a well-rounded program with an emphasis on literacy, University Heights has strong music, drama, dance, and sports programs. Parents have a strong presence in various volunteer opportunities.
John Dearness Public School
John Dearness had been providing quality education to students for over forty years. The school has approximately 250 students, K-8. Junior and senior kindergarten is a full day program. There is also a full-time music teacher on staff as well as a part-time librarian. Choir, basketball, cross country, and volleyball are just a few of the extra-curricular activities available to children.
Stoneybrook Public School
Stoneybrook is an elementary school serving students JK-8. Emphasis is put on developing students’ personal values, such as integrity, respect, honesty, and self-worth, and providing a safe learning environment for everyone. The school also has a before and after school program, a nice option for working parents.
Jack Chambers Public School
Named for the famed painter who hailed from London, the Jack Chambers School prides itself on balancing traditional academia with the arts and athletics so that children may have a well-rounded education. Additionally, the facility is also used by the community for various events as they have seating for 800.
Masonville Public School

Ryerson Public School
Ryerson serves close to 500 students from a culturally diverse background in old North London. Next year, they will celebrate their 100th anniversary in providing academic excellence to area children, with an emphasis in maths and critical thought activities. Additional offerings include orchestra, sports, dance, photography, and chess.
