20 May Custom Home Addition in Edmonton – Building a Multi-Sport Court

In Custom Home Builder by Alair Homes

Recently, a customer asked us about building a multi-sport court home addition. Building one of these courts in your backyard can offer numerous possibilities. It can range from a small back yard surface to large multi game court ready for championship play. The courts are usually enclosed with a 10’ high chain link fence and are made up of 8” of road crush and 4” of asphalt or concrete. The surface is then covered with an all weather surface tile which is said to provide up to 65% stress reduction to the body, compared to just playing on asphalt or concrete.
