Warren Koop

Warren Koop

Partner

Warren is a passionate third generation builder who values his clients and their communities.

Warren grew up in the home building industry and frequented job sites with his dad from a young age. His father’s mentorship and commitment to Habitat for Humanity instilled a deep passion for sustainability, giving back to the community, and developing lasting relationships with clients, professionals, trades, and suppliers.

Warren is proud to have started Alair Homes in Manitoba. He has a talent for bringing people together, problem solving, listening to his clients, and building dream homes. With his values, as well as his constant search for excellence and integrity, it’s no wonder that his clients refer him to their friends.

Together with his wife Jackie, they have “built” a wonderful family complete with their teens, Farrah, and Cole.

Outside of Alair, Warren enjoys snowmobiling, mountain biking, snowboarding, and scuba diving. He notably almost fell out of Disney’s Space Mountain and at 11 was left at a gas station on a family trip – the effects of both still linger today. He has experience cross-culturally while managing projects across Canada, US, Europe and Asia.
Jackie Koop

Jackie Koop

Partner

Jackie. Loves. Design

Growing up in her family owned trucking company, she brings many years of business experience. After taking a break to raise her two best pals, she was thrilled to open Alair Homes Winnipeg with her husband Warren. Though she’s seldom seen, she’s always involved and consulting behind the scenes.

Jackie’s middle name is Organization and she’s passionate about design. She discovered her passion at age 13 while poring over interior design and architecture books and has been rearranging furniture ever since

Jackie loves traveling, backpacking, rappelling, snowmobiling, snowboarding, mountain biking and most of all hiking with her daughter Farrah and golfing with her son Cole.
Curtis Moffat

Curtis Moffat

Partner

Curtis has been in the construction industry for over 20 years, gaining a Red Seal Certification in Carpentry. Combined with his rural upbringing and love of architecture, he brings a wealth of experience to help guide clients through the journey of building and renovating.

Curtis always found himself pulled between two worlds—the technical and the aesthetic, believing that the beauty of design and innovative building practices should not only coexist, but should also be enhanced by the presence of the other.

Curtis enjoys spending his free time planting in the garden, sharing a craft beer with his friends or coaching hockey with his three boys.
Sharayah Moffat

Sharayah Moffat

Partner & Design Lead

What drew Sharayah to the building industry was the combination of the creative fluidity of interior design and the technical structure of construction and architectural principles. Having an appreciation and commitment to both allows her to guide homeowners through the planning and construction journey.

Utilizing her 15 years' experience in construction, Sharayah knows that the key to building a successful project is more than just the bricks and mortar, it is understanding the client's vision for their home, listening to their ideas and in communicating them properly to the team through design.

Away from the office, Sharayah loves spending time riding the bike, cheering on her three boys at their sporting events and planning their next family vacation.
Collin Gagnon

Collin Gagnon

Partner

Collin is a third generation builder with a natural gift for building, inventing, and problem solving. Starting at a young age, he’s always loved putting in a good day's work. Between a paper route, his lawn care business, chicken picking/dairy farming and a summer job in a cabinet shop he’s never been afraid of hard work. Right out of high school, he bought his first house and started pursuing his Red Seal Carpenter certification so that he could one day build his own dream home.
He now loves spending his time with wife Erin and two young kids Sully and Maxime, helping others, coaching, turning clients into friends and playing just as hard as he works.
Fun fact: Collin has two horses (Black beauty & Gabe), a dog (Bailey), two cats (Jack and Ralph) and sometimes unwanted but welcomed deer and turkeys.
He loves all things horsepower, sports, kids, everything outdoors, friends, fires, smiles and cold blue cans.
Mitch Simard

Mitch Simard

Partner

Mitch has always been a hands-on guy and he enjoys doing physical, outdoor work. He started in construction installing sheet metal siding and roofing at a very young age. After being in the trades for many years, he partnered with Collin to grow and excel in the construction industry. He is now proud to be part of what he calls “a strong collaborative team” at Alair. He looks forward to building great homes for great people for many years to come.
Mitch loves fishing, golfing, quading and camping with his wonderful wife Roxy and two young children, Sadie and Olivier.
Eric Lagasse

Eric Lagasse

Project Manager

Eric has been in the construction industry for 16 years, and he’s had a passion for building things from an early age. Both of his grandparents were carpenters, and seeing them build furniture and do woodworking, sparked his interest in carpentry and led him to get his carpentry red seal.
Eric started out his career as a framer, he then moved on to carpentry, and is now a project manager. His extensive background in carpentry allows him to have a more hands on approach with projects, and he brings this knowledge to the clients he works with. Eric loves being able to help people build their dream home.

When Eric is not working, he loves spending time at his cabin, playing hockey, and enjoying all outdoor activities.

Fun fact: His nephew calls him the pink power ranger.
Trevor Kidd

As a former Canadian Olympian and Professional Hockey Player, Trevor knows the value of working as a team to complete a goal or make a save.

He brings a wealth of leadership experience to Alair Homes Winnipeg, continuously striving for excellence with trades, suppliers, and the most discerning clients. Trevor’s disciplined approach is a strong asset for Alair, and his love of real estate, community, and teamwork was what eventually led him to Warren and the Alair Homes Team.

When he’s not building award-winning homes, Trevor can be found volunteering for a variety of local charitable groups, or on the field coaching soccer.

Trevor has been married to his wife Tiffany for over 25 years and they have three beautiful daughters: Taylor, Kennedy, and Emerson. He also has a much beloved golden-doodle named Murphy. Trevor loves the lake, beaches, boating, and stories around the campfire.

Daryl comes from a small rural town in Western Manitoba and seems to know everyone from Winnipeg to MacGregor. He spent most of his career with the Canadian Grain Commission and had the opportunity to represent the Canadian grain industry in many different countries around the world.

Daryl has always had a passion for the construction industry. In years prior to joining Alair, he has renovated and built a number of homes with his wife Dianne. And if he could turn back time, he likely would have been in the industry for his whole career.

Daryl is a leader. He takes a lot of pride in his work, and is always showing off the skill and craftsmanship of our trade partners. He’s always eager to do what it takes to get the work done, and he sees it through from start to finish. He is the first one on the job site and the last to leave.

When Daryl is not leading trades on site, he is coaching high school football and sharing his expertise in the game. Which is a good thing, because he still hold the Manitoba record for the most rushing touchdowns in a single season with the CJFL.
