Meet Navin! A University of Alberta Civil-Environmental Engineering graduate who transitioned from a career at EPCOR Water to follow her passion for interior design and entrepreneurship.

She's now a Partner at Alair Homes, seamlessly combining her engineering, design, and construction expertise. Married to Danny, with two kids, they enjoy bike rides and spending time with friends and family!

Monica's journey unfolds as a captivating fusion of small-town grit and professional excellence. From early days cleaning job sites with her father in Central Alberta, she ventured into accounting, driven by a thirst for knowledge. However, her roots called her back, and armed with a CPA designation from PwC, she found her stride in the construction industry.

The legacy of her late husband, Jamie, a founding figure of Alair, continues to shape Monica's path. Together, they shared a vision of empowering builders towards success, a vision she now ardently champions.

Monica's life is a harmonious blend of professional dedication and personal fulfillment. A fervent advocate for education and collaboration, she finds joy in entertaining and embraces mountain adventures with her three children. In Monica, the construction industry discovers a passionate leader, seamlessly weaving together family values, educational zeal, and a love for exploration. Her narrative resonates as a testament to the power of resilience and the art of finding purpose within one's roots.

Graeme's journey is defined by dedication, teamwork, and a passion for excellence. With history as a CFL football player and a proud recipient of the 2013 Grey Cup, he embodies the spirit of collaboration and achievement. His time on the field instilled in him the importance of working together towards a common goal, a principle he carries into every aspect of his life.

Transitioning from the world of sports to business, Graeme found a natural fit within the Alair Edmonton team. He excels in inspiring those around him to strive for nothing short of greatness. His commitment to excellence is unwavering, driving him to continually raise the bar for his clients and projects.

Graeme always had a strong interest in real estate investment and property management. This passion ultimately led him to immerse himself in the realm of building and renovating homes, where he discovered a new avenue for channeling his drive and creativity.

Today, Graeme stands as a testament to the power of determination and teamwork. Through his leadership, unwavering dedication, and relentless pursuit of excellence, he continues to guide the team forward at Alair Edmonton.

Mick joined Alair Homes in 2023 as a Project Manager, after working in construction since high school. From working as a framing carpenter to building large timber-frame dwellings, to managing multiple multi-family sites for production builders, Mick brings a breadth and depth of experience to the Alair St. Albert team.

Mick started Singletree Builders in 2012 after recognizing that many of Edmonton’s historical and mature neighborhoods needed some love and rejuvenation. Over the years, he has learned the challenges of negotiating the City’s rules and regulations, and navigating the Good Neighbor Promise with homeowners of neighboring projects. Mick joined IDEA Edmonton (Infill Development in Edmonton Association) to help the City enhance legislation to create healthy and diverse mature neighborhoods.

Alair and Mick share the same attitudes toward customer service, quality and city building; ensuring that the customer, the project, and the neighborhood are top priorities.
