The Enchanted Forest Holiday Lights Tour

This spectacular demonstration of lights and foliage runs through January 9, 2016 at the Forestry Farm Park & Zoo. This drive through tour features 75 custom holiday displays illuminating the forestry in a uniquely festive way.

Maurice Drouin’s Jazzy Christmas

Jazz musician Maurice Drouin will be appearing at The Bassment on December 12th and 13th to present his own jazz versions of some all time Christmas favorites. Maurice has invited local artists to join him for the event as well.

Twinkle Lights Skating Party

For more family oriented fun, Tim Hortons is hosting a skating party at the Cameco Meewasin Skating Rink. While the facility is open limited hours throughout the holiday season, the skating party is scheduled for December 11th. The party will kick off with the lighting of the trees at 5:30 p.m. with the skating party to run until 7:00 p.m.

A Stranger For Christmas

The Barn Playhouse is offering a play based on the Carol Lynn Pearson book in which two elderly women gamble that a family with true Christmas spirit would take in a stranger over the holidays. A Stranger For Christmas will be showing December 2-6, December 9-13, and again from December 16-20.

Christmas With Eclipse Chorus And Wyatt

Country musicians Wyatt will be joining Saskatoon’s own Eclipse Chorus for a blend of holiday and country music on December 13th at the Broadway Theatre. The venue is located at 715 Broadway Avenue and doors open at 7:00 p.m. with the show starting at 7:30 p.m.

Yuk Yuk’s Christmas Cabaret

For those looking for some giggles with their holiday cheer, O’Briens Event Center will be presenting Yuk Yuk’s Christmas Cabaret on Friday December 18th. The show will present the comedic stylings of Kevin Stobo, Brittany Lyseng, and Ian Wallace.

New Years Eve House Party

This event is intended to give 2015 a sendoff in a big way and, hosted at Prairieland Park on December 31st, it seems capable of doing just that. When Wonderland, Saskatoon’s own live band, isn’t performing, DJ Anchor will be providing the party’s music. The event also promises happy hour pricing throughout the night and free swag and games. For safety, each guest will be given a personalized red solo cup and there will also be a free coat check.
