Silver Valley is a good mix of older development with new affordable housing developments situated on the upper valley. The short drives to local schools and Parks are great for families, especially the WildPlay Element Park located just east of Maple Ridge Park. The drive through the local Golden Ears Provincial Park is quiet and Surrounded by unreal forests full of trails and switchbacks. At the end of the drive you end up at Alouette Lake with a boat launch and many campgrounds for those family summer trips.

North West Maple Ridge just off of the Golden Ears Way has a great family friendly community close to schools such as Laity View, and Glenwood Elementary as well as Maple Ridge Secondary. The Golden Ears Way connects Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge for quick commuting, as the new Golden Ears Bridge makes access to the Trans-Canada Hwy a breeze. In the summer you can easily access upper Pitt River to Pitt Lake for some great boating along the scenic provincial parks and fishing nearly year round.

Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge have very active members in their community that really stay connected to what’s new and upcoming in the area. The population is just under a hundred thousand and growing in the area with the hot market this year. With the space to grow and expand this is where the majority of families will be residing in the future to come and the community is ready for it.
