With 24 years of construction experience, Mike has an amazing knowledge base to share with clients. A graduate from Algonquin College with a degree in Architectural Technology, his interest in building started as a young boy helping on construction sites when most kids his age were playing video games. He is an active member of the Canadian Home Builder’s Association through his local SCHBA (Simco County Home Builder’s Association).
 
A firm believer in the importance of family and friends, operating with honesty, and building strong communities through volunteerism, Mike is an annual participant and major sponsor of Hockey Helps the Homeless and also a sponsor of Midland Minor Baseball. He grew up in Midland, is married with two children and enjoys golf, hockey, and the outdoors.

 
Elliott grew up in Corner Brook, NFLD, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Dalhousie University in Management. He is currently completing his PMP designation through the Project Management Institute. A third-generation builder with a decade’s worth of experience in construction, Elliott also taught English to children in S. Korea from 2008-2011.
 
Fiercely protecting his client’s budgets by carefully planning out projects to mitigate risks has resulted in numerous raving fans for his offices. He has been acknowledged as a top performer across North America within the Alair family for the past four years and has received several other performance accolades during his construction career. He is passionate about building up the communities that he is a part of through volunteerism and is an active member in the CHBA (Canadian Home Builders Association) through the local builders association, SCHBA (Simco County Home Builders Association). He is also an annual participant and major sponsor of Hockey Helps the Homeless and also a sponsor of Midland Minor Baseball. Elliott and his wife are the proud parents of a beautiful little girl, and in his spare time, he is a triathlete, plays golf, tinkers in his shop, and enjoys fishing.

 
Steve has over 20 years in the construction industry and attended Humber College for Custom Cabinetry. His passion for construction began in high school building fences and roofs, and his resume includes building an award-winning custom cabinet company in South Carolina before his move back north. Since his teenage years, Steve has been able to work in multiple trade disciplines, and it is this experience that makes Steve invaluable as a high-level construction problem solver.
 
Before being awarded his two Alair partnerships, Steve was the Alair Corporate Director of Training for North America and was instrumental in the development of the program and its software development. He loves guiding people through the construction process and helping them achieve their vision and for the past four years, Steve has been acknowledged as a top performer across the United States and Canada within Alair. He and his wife are blessed with four beautiful children and feel fortunate to call Bracebridge home with the incredibly friendly and welcoming people. In his spare time, Steve volunteers at his church, enjoys golfing, curling, fabrication, old cars, and motorcycles.

 
With relevant business and life experience, including working in the family-owned business growing up in Corner Brook, NFLD, Mitchell has become a highly effective communicator able to listen to his clients and deliver award-worthy projects. Mitchell has become a master at assembling the right team around him and it’s this level of insight and leadership that has produced countless raving fans, numerous client referrals, and breathtaking dream homes. He lives in Midland with his wife and two children and enjoys sports, fitness, and being with his family.

 
Meet John Tumber, one of our awesome Project Managers. From digging holes on his dad's landscaping projects, to owning and operating his own general contracting business, John has experienced everything the construction industry has to offer over the last 20 years.
 
After receiving a Business Admin diploma from Humber College John considered pursuing a career in firefighting, but his passion for home improvements wouldn't allow him to move in another direction - John is an accomplished carpenter with an incredible attention to detail. In his spare time John enjoys playing guitar, spending time on the water and sitting around a fire with friends and family.
