Chilliwack Mountain Home Tour

Step inside our latest project—a breathtaking custom home on Chilliwack Mountain. We recently wrapped up this 5,600-square-foot build, complete with four bedrooms and six bathrooms. From the very beginning, our goal was to create a home that seamlessly blends modern elegance with the natural beauty of its surroundings. With panoramic views, high-end finishes and thoughtful details throughout, this project was a true labour of love. We’re excited to share it with you.

Designed by Zane Erickson of Zed Studio and with interiors by Leah Holmes of Your Designer, this home is a masterclass in contemporary luxury. Together, we created a space that feels both grand and grounded. Let’s explore some of its standout features:

Living Room & Dining Room

From the moment you step inside, your eyes are drawn to the soaring 20-foot windows. They frame dramatic views of the Fraser Valley below. A striking black fin wall divides the living and dining spaces, housing a double-sided fireplace that adds warmth and architectural interest.

This fin wall also anchors the home’s exterior design. Visible from both the front and back, the wall evokes a sense of stability and permanence that carries throughout the build.

Kitchen

The kitchen is a study in clean, contemporary design. A large central island offers seating and functionality, while built-in elements like a full-sized fridge, freezer, wine fridge and hidden range hood keep the space streamlined. In addition, custom cabinetry provides dedicated storage for everything from spices to a KitchenAid stand mixer. Just off the main space, two doors beside the sink open to a generous butler’s pantry. It’s home to a second fridge, microwave and additional pantry storage. So. Much. Storage!

Primary Suite

Upstairs, a bridge connects the guest bedrooms to the primary suite, creating a sense of separation and privacy. The suite itself features large windows that showcase valley views. Sleek barn doors lead to a luxurious ensuite bathroom.

Here, you’ll find his-and-hers vanities, a deep soaker tub and one of the largest showers we’ve ever built. It has a built-in bench, three shower heads and its own window for natural light. Across the hall, a spacious walk-in closet includes a makeup vanity and built-in steamer, creating a true retreat within the home.
