Whats important to you?

Finding the right property, neighbourhood and area to live can be just as stressful as building or renovating your house. Are there schools nearby, how much convenience do I expect for shopping and amenities, is this a safe area? These are just a few of the many considerations that need to be discussed when looking for the right fit for you and your family. Some of us have to be in the city and close to work, while others need their own space and serenity, but for some of us we have to be near a really great school, or close to shopping. This is an individual need for each family, homeowner, and individual person. You may not always agree on what is important to you, but you can find a perfect balance that is a plausible compromise. Regardless of where you fit or where your dream location exists, it is very important to talk with a qualified builder in your area of choice. A builder familiar with local codes and building practice, the right connections and a builder committed to quality of work and the quality of their working relationship with you.

“The three most important factors in buying a home are, location, location, location!”

Your dream setting

Take a walk inside your dream and dare yourself to dream bigger. Your dream home and setting do not have to be the place where you spend the rest of life, but what fits your dreams today, just like a custom home does not have to have a huge price tag. Custom home means custom built for you and your needs, not huge budget. In the same way a dream home can be a downtown condo, because that is your dream right now. Within the city some of the most desirable locations are Mount Royal, Bridgeland and Briar Hill. Close to downtown and a huge amount of amenities, shopping, and restaurants. Perfect locations for an on the go lifestyle. These neighbourhoods are extremely established and have great schools throughout the area. While outside the city Springbank is a very desirable location with amazing mountain views and wide open spaces. Shopping and amenities are a little farther travel, but still very convenient, and some of the best schools in the area are located on the west side of the city. A little further out of the city you might really love Dewinton or Priddis, these communities are part of the Foothills/Kananaskis area. Lots of trees and coulee’s make these area fairly private and feel more secluded. These areas are a little farther from shopping but both have nearby schools.
