An open retreat with views of the changing sand dunes of Sandbanks Provincial Park, this project was a major refresh to a dated and sad home. A derelict and structural catastrophe of a fireplace was restructured and opened up, allowing the original cottage, with exposed wooden trusses, to be part of the kitchen, living and dining room, while also exposed to a new, open, mono-stringer staircase. This home saw a complete interior renovation for a great family to utilize the space better, while also improving their Prince Edward County cottage investment.
