Modern architecture with a transparent design is becoming more and more popular with our customers. Many of the custom new houses we build have open living concepts for maximum incidence of light. This exclusive architectural style can be realized very effectively with minimalist designed glazed sliding systems by Keller AG.
Keller minimal windows® and minimal windows®4+ provide a virtually frame-less design with insulated aluminum frame profiles into which the very large double or triple insulated glass panes are set.
Keller Windows Features List
- The system offers all conceivable sliding variants extending up to 3-track systems and corner-post-free internal and external corners.
- The sliding leaves can be manufactured up to a height of 4 m and with a leaf area of up to 12 m².
- The slender facing width of the leaf profile is only 26 mm but still ensures high static stability. The maximum leaf weight is 1,000 kg.
- A unique feature is that several of these leaves with a total weight of up to 2,000 kg can be moved by just one electric drive.
- The peripheral frame profiles can be fully installed into the wall and floor. The floor area remains free of bothersome thresholds and thus barrier-free.
- The high-quality 2-point locking system developed by Keller AG offers burglar resistance and is approved in accordance with WK2 (RC2).
- Ventilation can take place by manual trickle ventilation or by electric opening of the sliding leaf.
- Uw values of < 0.80 W/(m²K) can be achieved with today’s triple glazing (Ug= 0.5 W/(m²K)), thus contributing to the saving of energy.
- The quality of the system meets the highest requirements and guarantees maximum protection against driving rain and wind loads – perfect for an unbroken view on any given day here on the West coast.
