This memorable service explores the magic of World War I’s armistice that occurred on Christmas Eve more than a hundred years ago. Without orders from their commanders, troops on both sides of the war mutually reached a temporary peace and celebrated the holiday through song. This service and musical experience begins on December 8 at 7:30 p.m. Donations of non-perishable food are collected at this event to support the local food bank.
12 Beers of Christmas Party
Fill your heart with joy and your belly with beer at the 12 Beers of Christmas Party. This event is the perfect way to enjoy light-hearted merriment with your friends and neighbors. It is held on December 22 at 6 p.m. at the Gladstone Hotel, and it brings together partygoers wearing ugly Christmas sweaters who are eager to have a great time. Attendees will enjoy karaoke, dancing and samples of a dozen varieties of beer. Additional beer can be purchased at the party from numerous breweries in attendance. Majestic NYE 2019 at Fairmont Royal York
The Fairmont Royal York hotel is hosting one of the biggest New Year’s Eve celebrations in the city. The Majestic NYE 2019 party brings over 3,000 festive attendees together to celebrate the end of one year and the beginning of another. Dressed in your finest attire, you can roam through several ballrooms that each have unique events and entertainment. Six DJs, burlesque dancers, live music and plenty of food and drink are available for you to enjoy.
