Since the success of your project relies heavily on strong management, we are extremely selective and hire only the best project managers. Our project managers receive extensive and ongoing training on a weekly and monthly basis. The success of our business is built on the strength of our project managers and we are proud of the highly skilled team we have assembled at Alair Homes South Etobicoke.
Cost per square foot is a very poor way to gauge the cost of completing your custom home because it is only relevant if you are comparing the exact same home plan and fitted with the exact same fixtures. Alair Homes South Etobicoke will not quote on a per square foot basis because we understand that if you are going to achieve total satisfaction from building your own custom home, you deserve to understand the true cost of your project that matches your goals and specifications. This requires a thorough budgeting process with a knowledgeable construction professional with past experience in your type of project. This process does not take long and is the surest way to give you the confidence you need to understand what the total cost will be before the project starts.
We have developed a hybrid system known as Client Control™ that is the best of both worlds! We establish fixed prices from our trade partners and suppliers that create cost certainty plus you receive 100% transparency and control via an overall cost plus model. Please watch our video above explaining Client Control™ and also download our report outlining the benefits of this revolutionary method.
Each of our projects is as unique and diverse as our clients, which is exciting for us and important to our clients. However, if we have a project under construction, and we have the permission of the client we would love to show you a project in action! This is a great way to assess a contractor as you get to see things from the inside out. For Alair Homes South Etobicoke, this is also an opportunity to show what makes our approach so unique and what makes Alair such a different kind of contractor.
Brian and all his employees were pleasant, helpful, responsive to all requests. They completed the project well within the estimated time. The workers were respectful of the condo rules. Most importantly the workmanship is excellent!
Martin and Marie
We hired Brian Fletcher and his team to renovate the kitchen and entrance hallway of our century home in west Toronto.
The meetings to set up the project, discuss options and budget were detailed and very helpful. I had a good understanding of the work, cost and project schedule.
The reno involved gutting the existing space, adding insulation, some reframing and adding ceiling joists to open the space up, new cabinetry and countertop, ceramic floors, electrical, minor plumbing, new window and entrance door, closet.
The quality of the work was very high, fit and finish excellent, attention to detail and client satisfaction excellent. We are really satisfied with the open and contemporary look that we achieved.
Brian and his team were professional, conscientious and dedicated to completing the job. We were kept very well informed throughout the entire project, and we continued to live in the house throughout the renovation.
The work was completed within budget estimates and only slightly behind scheduled project timelines.
The project management was excellent. We were kept well informed of daily and weekly tasks. I would highly recommend using Alair South Etobicoke.
We recently hired Brian Fletcher of Alair Homes to add a year around sunroom/family room to our home, replacing a small unusable two season solarium.
From the very first meeting there were many things that set Brian apart from the other contractors (we met with several). Specifically, Brian’s ideas and suggestions on how to integrate the new addition to ensure it flowed as part of the home was key. Not only did he have great ideas on the new room (i.e. extending the roof line to maximize the height of the ceiling) he also came up with a design that addressed several other areas of our older home that improved the functionality. So not only did we end up with a beautiful new family room, he created a new entrance way providing far more room, opened-up the kitchen and changed the entrance to the main floor bathroom that was heretofore the bain of my existence as it previously opened into the kitchen.
We couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of workmanship as well as the professionalism. Mike our project manager was also excellent, always polite and conscientious. The sub trades were top notch in their field and any minor issues were dealt with promptly and without compromise.
We highly recommend Brian and his team as they are second to none.
