Christmas Glow

When it comes to Vancouver’s biggest indoor holiday event, the crown goes to Christmas Glow. Play, stroll and smile like a Cheshire cat under thousands of twinkling lights and illuminated monuments. ‘Glow Around The World’ is 2018’s theme and guests will have a rare opportunity to trail Santa Claus as he makes a trip around the planet. Kids will enjoy the adventure as their “passports” get a stamp in every country. The glow shines until January 19, 2019, at Langley’s Milner Village Gardens and there is no better place to take a Christmas selfie.

Burnaby Village Museum Heritage Christmas

If the sounds, tastes, and sights of past, current, and future Christmas niceties sound like a good idea, you will love what the Burnaby Village Museum has for you. No doubt that the remarkable lights display will lighten up your soul and warm your heart. From exploring the wonders of winter wonderland and listening to community choirs, to enjoying theater performances and making personal light shows at the Bandstand, Heritage Christmas – running up to January 4th, 2019 – is where you want to be this holiday!

Winterfest

This is an event that will leave all train lovers craving for more. The trees at Bear Creek Park set the perfect ambiance for a memorable ride as the train snakes through the festive and sparkling forest. Running from 10 am to 4 pm, the Santa Express offers a golden opportunity to experience an interactive holiday display. Don’t forget your camera to take a quick pic of Santa on the train platform. You’re not available during these hours? No need to worry as you can catch the Christmas Night Train from 6 pm to 9 pm and enjoy an enchanted ride in a forest full of glittering lights. Winterfest goes all the way to December 31, 2018.

Stanley Park’s Bright Nights

Christmas is a time to give and the Bright Nights event in Stanley Park understands this all too well; a percentage of ticket sales goes to a fund helping burn survivors. What is more, this will be a chance to enjoy a train ride in Stanley Park’s forest featuring more than three million Christmas lights that will be on display until January 5th, 2019.
