Building Relationships: Alair Lake Simcoe Launches with Trade Appreciation Event on June 19
We’re proud to share that the team behind Alair Aurora/Newmarket has officially expanded into the Lake Simcoe region. After a decade of delivering award-winning custom homes and renovations across Aurora, Newmarket, Partners David Butler and Jason Barnes are excited to bring their people-first approach to a new home base on the lake.
To celebrate this exciting milestone, the team hosted a Trade Appreciation event on June 19 as part of the first-ever Blueprints & Bevies gathering. Held at Grillicious Restaurant & Bar, the event welcomed over 70 trades and suppliers from across the region for an afternoon of connection, gratitude, and shared momentum.

“We’re thrilled to be here,” said Partner David Butler. “In 10 years of building in Aurora/Newmarket including projects across Muskoka, Barrie, and Simcoe County – we decided it was time to expand. Our hearts are in custom homes, waterfront builds, and cottages, and we’re committed to raising the bar for service, quality, and trade collaboration.”
“We get asked all the time what it’s like to build homes. The truth is – we don’t build houses; our trade partners do. The success of our business is 100 per cent based on relationships – with trades, clients, inspectors, designers, and our partner office, Alair Homes Midhurst. That’s why tonight was about saying thanks, and about growing together. We want to grow our business, and we want to help grow yours.”
A special thank you to our door prize sponsors: RONA Barrie, Milwaukee Tools, Spa Lumina, and BMR Pro Elmvale for generously donating top-tier giveaways including a Blackstone griddle, Milwaukee M18 gear, and luxury spa treatments. Your support helped make the event feel both rewarding and memorable.
We’re excited to bring the Alair difference to Lake Simcoe and are looking forward to building lasting partnerships in this next chapter.
