Chef Bell and his creation, the “Big Bell”!

He’s not known for his skills in the kitchen, but former Edmonton Eskimos full back, 2013 Grey Cup champion and Regional Partner for Alair Homes, Graeme Bell has whipped up something delicious for the month of November 2019.

In partnership with The Parlour Italian Kitchen and Bar, Chef Bell is featured as the celebrity chef of the month at the restaurant where he created his “Big Bell” pizza.

For the month of November 2019, $2 from the sale of each Big Bell pizza at The Parlour will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities® Alberta.

Alair Homes and partners are currently working with Ronald McDonald House in Edmonton to support them with a major renovation that will help increase the number of suites available for families. This renovation was the inspiration behind the collaboration with The Parlour to show additional support for the beloved charity.

“The inspiration behind the Big Bell pizza is of course based on the popular fast-food hamburger,” said Graeme Bell, Regional Partner with Alair Homes. “It’s got all the good stuff on it – beef, cheese, special sauce, onions, lettuce and pickles. Surprisingly – it’s delicious; especially with the pickles!”

#TeamAlair kicked off the month-long collaboration with a pizza party at The Parlour restaurant, where the Big Bell pizza got several enthusiastic thumbs up.

Alair Homes will be working with several industry partners, trades and suppliers to help complete the renovation on the Ronald McDonald House in Edmonton in early 2020.
