What does “Going the Extra Mile” really mean? To some, it’s just another “saying” or phrase. But to others, it’s a way of life, putting extra effort into an activity or a job. Maybe putting an exclamation mark on each task you take on is a normal event for you. It can be if thats your target. Why is it natural for a type A person but type B doesn’t recognize the value of going the extra mile? Does it come from breeding? genetics? Upbringing? Mentorship?

I believe it comes from within, just as the need for knowledge comes from wanting to be better at what you do. A drive that was somehow instilled in you along the way and that wants to come out and show itself at every opportunity, in it’s humblest regard.Taking the time required and making the effort to do the absolutely best job you are capable of should be your reason for getting up every day and going to work. No other way of life will ever be as gratifying and fulfilling as giving 110% to every task.

At Alair Homes Collingwood, we are continuously looking for ways to improve our relationships with our clients, however, we have found very rarely that these relationships are in jeopardy. We think it’s because our clients recognize our efforts in trying to be the best and showing them that we are always making the effort to go the extra mile.

Sure we have had some growing pains, every business has, but we have always made the effort to overcome any negativity by proving that we care about our projects, care about our business, and above all, care about our clients, and will take the steps necessary to beat down adversity and counter with a positive attitude.

At our Alair Homes office, we are committed to going the extra mile, every day, every task, every project, every client, every employee. It’s the way we live our lives and the way we run our business. To us, it’s the cornerstone of our success, in business and in our personal lives.
