I was recently sitting in a Starbucks having coffee with a client, and I noticed a pickup truck in the drive through. His truck was lettered Custom Builder and renovator. It had me thinking to when we first came to Collingwood and we were asked what our line of business was. I was told that it’s very competitive in this area and we would have a challenge.

So I say that’s why branding is so important. We got into an Alair franchise for its brand and everything it stands for. Having confidence for what you do attracts people and business. Potential clients shopping for a contractor is a very stressful choice. We have all been on both sides of that and we always put ourselves in the shoes of the customer, always. Recently, Kevin met with new potential clients and he went prepared with information to share on selections, timing etc. He also had an Interior Designer meet with him at the client’s home. They told him that it’s a hard process to choose a builder but after talking with Kevin, they were confident and felt the trust to move forward.

So thinking back to the truck in the drive through, it was very ordinary, it didn’t really stand out that much. I think the Alair Brand on our trucks stands out, people notice it and they want to find out more about the differences and why we are a good choice. People simply want to be around others who are good at what they do!

Standing out making a difference, making people feel special, honesty and genuine advice. We pride ourselves on these traits, it can only get better from here.
