Job Specifics are as follows: 

  • Provide excellent customer service at all times to ensure we create a “raving fan” with each and every client 
  • Maintain constant communication with your management team. Communicate daily as needed via phone, email, or text message 
  • Work collaboratively with the team and have a complete understanding of expectations for each project 
  • Expected to stay up to date on new building technologies, materials and practices 
  • Expected to be familiar with all current building codes 
  • Follow the safety policy and keep the company and sub trades working within COR & MB legislative guidelines 
  • Maintain communication with the client to get timely decisions and selections 
  • Field questions and identify issues related to the project and exercise discretion and judgement when addressing them. 
  • Request bids, review bids, develop scopes of work, identify selections and create budgets 
  • Direct execution and manage subcontractor agreements 
  • Support the team in all aspects of the project by collaborating with other market stakeholders to align goals and meet company objectives 
  • Set and maintain schedule 
  • Attend and facilitate job progress/status meetings 
  • Responsible for creating a winning job-site impression through cleanliness, organization and safety. Work with trades to accomplish this. 
  • Ultimately responsible for a clean job site.
  • Manage a diverse set of local trades and vendors to execute scopes and ensure quality control and compliance with national and local building codes 
  • Manage quality in all aspects of the project 
  • Manage warranty and follow-up care for projects 
  • Monitor project budgets and review with client at billing milestones 
  • Manage the execution of project scopes to ensure quality control, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of safe and desirable projects- responsible for projects to be completed on time and under budget 
  • Make sure finishes are protected such as flooring, benches, cabinets and counters. 
  • Have an offensive mindset projecting needs, timelines, issues well in advance. 
  • Assist clients with selections 
  • Provide leadership with problem solving and process improvement 

Qualifications, Skills & Aptitude: 

  • Class 5 Driver’s License (required) 
  • Construction Experience – 5 years minimum 
  • Red Seal Journeyman Carpentry Ticket (preferred) 
  • Late model dependable truck with room for transporting tools and hauling lite trailers (no SUVs or cars)

Job Details: 

  • Pay – $50,000 to $65,000 a year 
  • 2 week paid vacation

  • Vehicle milage compensation 
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent  Salary: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year 

Schedule: 

  • 8 hour shift 
  • Monday to Friday 
  • Weekend availability
