Alair Keeps Work Sites Clean

Picture this… Your child has a fever and hasn’t been feeling well. The first thing you do is bring your child into a Doctor to have a professional take a look and diagnose the symptoms and provide the remedy. What if you entered the Doctors office and it was a mess. Dust bunnies in the corners, broken chairs, old magazines strewn around the room. A cracked counter at the empty receptionist desk and a bell with a sign saying, “ring for service.” We know your immediate reaction would be to get out of there. Not because of the mess but because the mess is an indication of how professional your Doctor is and how your child will be treated. Alair Homes takes this same methodology to our work sites.

Every job site is to resemble a Doctors office. The lumber pile has its place, the brick is located in an area that is convenient, yet not on top of the gas line. The garbage bin is accessible and not spilling over. The materials are sorted for efficiency. The porta potti is there and being used. This may seem very elementary, however this is quite rare in our industry. A clean, well-organized job site is a very good indication of the level of professionalism you will receive from your builder. The results of these efforts ensure that materials are protected, construction waste is minimized and money is saved. Every job site begins with a defined lot plan. The lot plan details where all materials will be delivered and stored. The safety program is in place, the lot address sign is installed and reminders are placed onsite to remind all subtrades that smoking and eating inside the homes is not permitted. For all of us at Alair Homes Barrie, quality is in the details and we treat your new house like a home right from the very beginning.
