Theater by the Bay

Maker’s Night: Little Bots

July 12. 5:00 to 7:30 pm. Georgian College. Free. Admit it. You’ve always wanted to make your own robot, especially if it dances. Come make that childhood fantasy come true at the build your bot event. This event is family-friendly, so feel free to bring the kiddos along as you take a break from your bathroom or kitchen renovation.

Promenade Days And Canada Day Festivities

June 30 to July 2. 10 am. To 7 pm. Street Market, Dunlop St. Free. The stores will have their wares outside for your viewing pleasure during the Canada Day festivities. Come window shop, check out local vendors or find that perfect gift for your favorite someone. Music, food, things for children to do, and lots of fun are also on the agenda.

Golf

July 11. 11:00 am. To 8:00 pm. 128 Brock St. Free. Come play the links or relax with your nine iron in hand. This event is open to individuals and teams, so gather a few friends and make a day of it.

Classics In The Park Car Show

July 21. 8:00 am. To 4:00 pm. Heritage Park. Free. Enjoy your favorite food and beverage as you tour over 300 classic cars and trucks. Look out over Kempenfelt Bay as you contemplate the classic lines and svelte designs of the autos. Enjoy oldies spun by a DJ and lots more family-friendly fun.

Craft Beer And BBQ Festival

July 6 to July 8. Saturday, 11 am. To 10 pm., Sunday 11 am. To 6 pm. Heritage Park. Free admission with food for purchase. It wouldn’t be Canada without a festival, and it wouldn’t be summer without barbecue. Throw in craft beer, music, and a cook-off, and it’s sure to be a weekend to remember.
