Here are my favorite places to take kids near Vancouver before they grow up.

Magic Carpet Rides

Magic Carpet rides in the kids camp area at Cypress Mountain for great fun during winter. Check out the website here to read about the details of this activity.

Maplewood Farms

Bunny rabbits and pony’s are sure hits in the spring at Maplewood Farm. Check out their website for times and dates that the farm us open.

Science World

Make your kid’s hair stand on end at Science World at Telus World of Science.

Playland

Of course Playland at the PNE with over 30 rides to keep kids of all ages smiling for the whole day!

Kitsilano Pool

All kids love swimming with their friends until you need to pull them out at the end of the day –Best place for that this summer is at Kitsilano Pool, a heated salt water outside pool on the ocean’s edge with great views of Vancouver. It has a shallow end for toddlers and great swimming sections for older kids.

Vancouver Aquarium

Of course the Vancouver Aquarium is not only super fun for the kids but educational and engaging. A must stop on the summer tour of fun things to do in Vancouver.

Granville Island

North America’s largest free water park is in Granville Island. Open all summer, this is a great pace for a picnic from the public market at Graville Island, and hours of fun running through the squirting water. Take one of the many water taxi’s across False creek for a pile of fun!

Virtual Reality Lounge

And my personal favorite , a Virtual Reality Lounge (Arcade) –where slightly older kids strap on a virtual reality headset and are immersed for the next two hours. So much fun and a guaranteed hit with the kids.
