During the winter it might be a little more precarious to reach but the view is probably just that much more tantalizing.

Get Back to Your Roots at the Muskoka Heritage Place

Combining a pioneer village, a diverse museum exhibit, and a stream train ride; this attraction is a must as you visit or live near Huntsville. It will give you an appreciation for the pioneers that settled the lands originally and you will learn just how resourceful they were to survive the cold and set things up all those years ago.

Hike yourself around at Arrowhead Provincal Park

While the forest may seem a bit tenuous at this time of year, the local establishments light up the forest and trails at this beautiful park to create a year-round attraction.
